Capcom USA Senior VP Comments On Ace Attorney's Future Prospects

“Am I worried? I don’t think so,” Svensson replied. “If fans really love the series and want to play the game in English, we’re expecting them to be there. If they’re not, well, that tells us something too. I’m betting on you guys.”

So, if Capcom have decided upon a digital strategy for future Ace Attorney releases, would it be possible for them to give fans some sort of reassurance that this will lead to future Ace Attorney games being guaranteed a Western release? Unfortunately, that isn’t possible, Svensson says.

“The reality is, there are no assurances I can make,” Svensson explains. “It isn’t up to me or anyone else at Capcom USA on whether or not something ultimately comes to us. I get to put up forecasts for what I think we can plausibly sell and the producer has to see if there’s localization and dev resources available, costs need to be evaluated and we have to see if it makes sense.”

Hello Kitty Run!Run!Run! has over 200 jobs for Sanrio’s iconic and silent cat. Actually, these are "Windup Kitties" kind of like Sega’s forgotten Clockwork Knight character. You start the game by putting together a team of Windup Kitties. Warrior, Sorcerer, Cheerleader, Free Spirit, Bunny, Fairy, and Otaku are some of the classes in the game. You can combine Windup Kitties in Hello Kitty Run!Run!Run! to create new Clockwork Kitties. Combining Bunny and Free Spirit makes Bunny Girl, for example.

Future proofing: Xbox One to support 3D and 4K content

The Xbox One is a next-generation console, and as such, it’s built with some future proofing in mind. It can do things you’re not quite ready for just yet, such as play back 4K resolution games, movies, and TV. And it’ll support 3D visuals too, despite the fact that 3D in the home has yet to catch in any meaningful way when it comes to TV, movies, or games. Microsoft noted that the new console would support 4K at the Xbox One launch event on Monday, but 3D support was kept under wraps until Xbox spokesman Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb mentioned it in a Wednesday Yahoo chat session.

“Crash needs a total reboot. There’s an opportunity to reset the history, and go back to his creation story and the original conflict with Cortex. In that context, you could reprise classic Crash 1 and 2’s settings and villains. It would make sense to use a more modern, free-roaming style. I would concentrate on Looney Tunes-esque animation and really addictive action. That’s what we did with the original Crash, and there’s no reason it couldn’t be done today. Given the current Crash games, people forget that he was once cool. Our Crash had a certain whimsical edge to him. Sure, it was goofy – but it wasn’t dumb.”
